we may want to create, merge and redirect this page to Betazoid language, just as we have with other alien words to their language page, notably, Klingonese and the numerous references redirecting to it. --Alan del Beccio 01:12, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Huh, I always thought this was French. Oh well, if not, then yeah, lets do that. --OuroborosCobra talk 01:20, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Imzadi is a Betazed word most closely translated as "beloved." --Alan del Beccio 01:30, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Alan, I am aware of that. I learned that by reading the article. I just had not read it before today, and had always assumed it was French. --OuroborosCobra talk 05:10, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Origin of Imzadi Edit

From the Hebrew `im tzadahiy "with me truely."

Can you find a canon or production side citation saying that was the origin of the word? If so, that would make a great addition to the article. --OuroborosCobra talk 21:02, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
