Great helmet[]

  • One of the Ferengi says the line "I bet she gives great Oo-mox", referencing a line from Mel Brooks' Spaceballs where Dark Helmet says "I bet she gives great helmet". {{incite}} Coincidentally, Sapceballs featured Tim Russ as well as Trek guest star Dey Young.

Eh. I bet a lot of movies have mentioned something along those lines - "i bet she gives great head" - no real uniqueness there. Anyway, Incited a while. Removed. — Morder 04:05, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

'Third nacelle' in-joke?[]

Barclay's 'third nacelle' comment appears to be an in-joke. It would be a reference to Gene Rodenberry's 'Starship Design Guidelines', created to refute the designs in Franz Joseph's TOS Tech Manual. Reference this article on Trekplace.--Indefatigable 02:53, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

Seems more likely to be a 24th century play on "third wheel," with warp nacelles being the primary form of transportation now. --OuroborosCobra talk 02:56, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

Remove pip nit[]

I removed the following as pip errors would create a really long encyclopedia if allowed..
  • In an error, Admiral Owen Paris is seen wearing a Vice Admiral's rank, not the 4 pips he was seen with in "Pathfinder".MajorTom1 20:18, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

Seven and the Borg Collective[]

  • Of Seven's escape from the Borg and reclamation of her humanity, the Barclay hologram says "No one's ever done that before." However, Jean-Luc Picard broke free of the Collective after he was assimilated to become Locutus in TNG: "The Best of Both Worlds".

I believe this is incorrectly comparing Picard's recovery after having been very briefly assimilated as an adult with Seven's escape after a much more extensive assimilation from childhood. As far as the Federation is concerned, she really is the first person to have done that and this comment in 'Continuity' should be struck. --TheRogueX (talk) 22:55, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

I agree. It depends how you interpret Barclay's comment but I think it's fair to say Locutus was a bit of an edge-case that doesn't really count. Squidgeny (talk) 12:15, 15 November 2020 (UTC)
