While the Star Trek Encyclopedia does identify this weapon as an isomagnetic disintegrator, it should be noted that the 'Worfzooka' was never directly identified in the film. Furthermore, the other unidentified weapons Picard secured--tetryon pulse launchers--have a name more fitting the 'Worfzooka', as it does fire a clearly visible pulse, and is certainly bulky enough to be referred to as a 'launcher'. - I have an issue with saying this weapon worked to "great effect". I was sort of disappointed when I saw it in action myself. I mean, what did it do that a phaser can't do on it's max setting? - It would make more sense for it to be a tetryon pulse launcher because tetryon pulses can shut down weapons which would explain the low damage. If the script identifies it as an isomagnetic disintigrator though I guess it must be one.81.108.237.26 15:48, January 22, 2010 (UTC)
