Forum:Qual se tu?[]
What does "Qual se tu" mean? In Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Sybok says this phrase to "god", and he answers: "It is I". But on Nimbus III, when Sybok and Spock meet first time, Spock asks "Qual se tu?", too. So, what does it mean? "God"? "Brother"? – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.178.107.3.
- Okay, after some more research, it turns out it's actually Italian from Dante's Divine Comedy:
- "Qual se' tu che così rampogni altrui? which translates into Who art thou, that thus reprehendest others?."

Thanks, I really thought it would be Vulcan. But "Who are you" fits in both situations, so better this than Spock asking Sybok whether he is God. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.178.107.3.
Script "Italian" vs "Real" Italian[]
An anon made a number of corrections today on the spelling of some of the Italian words in the episodes "Concerning Flight" and "Scorpion". My question is... how were these spelled in the scripts, and if they were spelled incorrectly there, which ones should we be using?
Note: I have no issue with the corrections (assuming that they are actually correct), I'm more wondering about the overall policy on this kind of thing... -- sulfur 20:09, February 3, 2010 (UTC)
