I had heard over the years that Mr. Kneubuhl was involved in one form or another with writing "Bread and Circuses".. But, the opening credits read "Written by Gene Roddenberry and Gene L. Coon." - According to IMDb, he did participate in the story but went uncredited. StarTrek.com also lists him as the story's writer. Apparently, Kneubuhl didn't like the final product very much and asked for his name to be removed from the credits.
