Implant[]
I don't think Keyla Detmer got the implant because of an injury sustained during the battle of the binary Star. The last Time She was Seen in Episode 1.02 at 31:40 She was unharmed at the Helm when Tkuvma started to Gather the klingon Bodies and Giorgiou Bombed the Ship by booby-trapping a klingons corpse (Which by the way is considered a warcrime by the geneva convention Burnham referenced in Episode 1.03) --Tezunegari (talk) 18:08, October 4, 2017 (UTC)
- You're confusing the Geneva Protocol with the Geneva Convention. Separate things. -- UncertainError (talk) 20:03, October 4, 2017 (UTC)
- She could have gotten it during the evacuation, but the article correctly does not speculate on when she got it. 31dot (talk) 21:17, October 4, 2017 (UTC)
- Then the article should state she was injured during the war at an unknown Time. There is no information given so far. As it is now the article does speculate about the Time of the injury, though it is likely we will learn More in a later Episode.
- A better wording would be "injured during the war" or "injured during the last six months".

Remember they have been at war for six months, she could have gotten it in that time. --T-888 (talk) 21:19, October 4, 2017 (UTC)

Note about name[]
- Her last name might be a reference to Philipp Dettmer, creator of the popular English-language YouTube science channel "Kurzgesagt" from Germany.
An anon just added the above to the article. I have removed it as speculation pending a valid production source as we don't note what "might" be. --| TrekFan Open a channel 10:34, February 6, 2018 (UTC)
Operations?[]
Why is Detmer in wearing Operations copper uniform? She’s a helmsman which is Command gold. Plus at the end of Season 3, she in in Operations gold when she should be Command red, which is the color for flight control officers (which she technically would be in 3189). Can anyone explain this?Flux345🎧🏹🪐 21:54, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
