sp: Kulkulkan or Kukulkan ? -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk

Sorry, there were too many K's and L's for me to count! Zsingaya Talk 20:05, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Googling "Kulkulkan" gets 923 results, while "Kukulkan" gets about 170,000. None of them are about this one, but chances are, Kukulkan is still right for us. I'm changing it. -Platypus Man 20:23, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Oooh, this could be fun... who's got the script? Zsingaya Talk 20:24, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Kukulkan is correct – both in pronunciation and according to the Star Trek Concordance. --Alan del Beccio 06:53, 19 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Hmmm... the German episode has Kulkulkan in its title, bah, damn dubbing! -- Kobi - (Talk) 19:44, 19 Oct 2005 (UTC)

on that basis i'd recommend keeping kulkulkan as a redirect, and note it as an alternate spelling in the article. -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 02:55, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Are you sure it's not Klukluxklan? That's what it makes me think of when I try to pronounce it. Weyoun 06:31, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Possible sighting in First Contact?[]

I don't know enough about Mayan art to be sure, but at the very beginning of Star Trek: First Contact, when Picard wakes up after his dream, a stone carving can be seen in the bookcase behind him, and it looks very Mayan, and from the look of it it just might be Kukulkan. Anyone capable of confirming/figuring this out by any chance? Not sure if trekcore allows hotlinking, but here's a [link] btw. -- Capricorn 17:08, May 30, 2011 (UTC)

I would say that is a pretty nice catch. [1] [2] --bp 00:50, October 10, 2014 (UTC)

...

I should point out that it is actually Quetzalcoatl or the Vision Serpent, but they're all based on the same thing, and in-universe they're actually all the same alien visitor, so I think it's fair. --bp 08:32, October 10, 2014 (UTC)

Awesome :D - I'll ad that picture and info to Quetzalcoatl. -- Capricorn (talk) 23:49, October 10, 2014 (UTC)

Pronunciation[]

Could someone who knows how to say 'That' add a pronunciation guide (I know it's mostly unheard of on this wiki but it would help) The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hutchy01 (talkcontribs).
