Person?[]

This may just be me, but was Kumari an Andorian person (like say, Leif Ericson) or a ship (like say, ironic twist being an ice cutter, the Titanic)? I seem to remember Kumari being a person, but I may be wrong. I am of coarse referring to the ice cutter, obviously not Shrans ship. -AJHalliwell 18:56, 24 May 2005 (UTC)

Briefly -- Jonathan Archer (RE: the various Enterprises on the wall): "...but they were all named Enterprise. This one sailed Earth's oceans almost 400 years ago." Shran: "My vessel, the Kumari, was named for the first ice-cutter to circumnavigate Andoria." I think the quote strongly favors the fact that it was a ice-cutter ship (think icebreaker, not a person); especially since the nice segway Shran made. --Gvsualan 05:45, 25 May 2005 (UTC)

Name[]

So was this ship andoria's equivalent of The HMS enterprise? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 149.254.180.18.

Please note that article talk pages are for discussing article changes only; specific questions not having to do with article changes should be asked at the Reference Desk. That said, such a comparison was not made; just that the ice cutter was the source of the name, much like the previous ships Enterprise was the source of the starship's name. If you consider that "equivalent", then it is. 31dot (talk) 12:44, June 1, 2014 (UTC)
