Was bio-luminescence ever mentioned in an episode? Or is this a generic-enough term that it should be kept and expanded? There are currently no links to this page, and a quick search didn't find any candidates for links, either. -- Renegade54 00:47, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

There are the Dakalan centipedes, which we should have an article on. They are pictured at File:Dakalan bug.jpg. I have not seen the episode, not sure if they were ever called "bio-luminescent creatures", or what I am moving this article to both to fix spelling and terminology, bio-luminescent lifeforms. --OuroborosCobra ^talk 01:39, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Going by the scripts, Bioluminescence was mentioned once (in VOY: "Drive"), and clearly Bioluminescent processes were referred to a few times just as "luminescent". "Bio-luminescent lifeform" doesn't seem mentioned anywhere though, so I moved the page to "Bioluminescence", which seems more straightforward in any case if you ask me. -- Capricorn 17:51, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
