She's a doctor and as such, she should be given every title accorded to her whether is MD, DR, RPN, ASAP... --Babaganoosh 22:51, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- And really, that revert should have been somewhat explained. The administrator "rollback" feature is really just a short cut for removing vandalism. I don't see how the last edit was with regards to vandalism. --Alan del Beccio 22:53, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
It wasn't, and perhaps I should have explained. Using both "Dr." and "MD" are redundant. Check both external links at the bottom of the article, and you'll see they both have her listed as "Mae Jemison, MD", including her official bio at NASA. And that's how we're listing her here as well. It's being reverted once more. -- Renegade54
Removed note[]
I removed the following:
- Dr. Jemison has the unique distinction of being the only "real" astronaut to ever appear on Star Trek.
There are also E. Michael Fincke and Terry Virts. – Tom 02:29, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- Why don't we change the note to her being the first "real" astronaut to appear on Star Trek? Because that's still pretty significant.– Cleanse 02:36, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds good, I did the change. Thanks. – Tom 02:42, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
