PNA-cite[]

The NX class note needs to be cited better. It should cite a specific episode, not the whole series. I know it was not used in every episode,in fact not in most of them. -- OuroborosCobra 20:44, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

I added the episode it first appeared in – "Broken Bow" (it might have been used in there, too) – and the one episode I'm almost 100% positive it was used in – "The Expanse". -- From Andoria with Love 16:10, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Prop[]

On a completely random note, the joystick prop used in Insurrection is a Gravis Blackhawk. It's... not very precise. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 94.193.52.69

A Gravis Blackhawk joystick was used as the prop for the USS Enterprise-E's manual steering column. {{incite}}

I removed the reference, but it's kind of a toughie. Someone obviously felt the incite was necessary, but if that joystick was a '79 AMC Gremlin, people would be like... Yup. --Alan (talk) 02:52, July 22, 2020 (UTC)

Precise?[]

There was nothing particularly precise about the maneuver the E-E did in Insurrection, in fact far more complex maneuvers are done throughout the franchise using a typical helm. Not only that but a joystick alone is lacking many things required to pilot that a helm console had. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 94.193.52.69

Delta Flyer[]

The second Delta Flyer used two manual steering columns in her helm configuration, having them almost completely replace the standard touch pad display that had been used on the previous Delta Flyer.

The first Delta Flyer had two manual steering columns shown in the Voyager episode "Extreme Risk" and the Delta Flyer did not have a touch pad display for its controls. This should be changed. -- TyphussJediVader 14:00, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
