I felt the note was reasonable as this is a fairly well known expression, and multilingual in-jokes are rather common in SF (eg the use of Yiddish slang for alien words in Farscape). In the absence of any word from the writers it seemed only fair to let the reader in on the possibility without making a definitive claim. --99.226.63.13 05:26, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Softer translation isn't the problem. You have no production side source linking the Trek use to your translations, none at all. Without that, even the suggestion of one is original research, not sourced information. It doesn't stay in the article. --OuroborosCobra ^talk 13:43, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
