Reference?[]
If this wasn't actually seen in the film, should we have an article for it? The only Trek connection seems to be that the patch was owned by someone involved in Trek production. --OuroborosCobra talk 03:30, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
- If there is evidence that it was indeed used on the set but not seen, it could be categorized as Category:Unreferenced material. If, however, it was only "allegedly" used, it should not have an article.--31dot 10:44, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
PfD discussion[]
The article says it all:
- The mission patch for this ship was allegedly used as a bar sign in the bar in Bozeman, Montana...
No source has been provided to confirm its use since the article was created in late May. Right now, it's an orphaned article about something that may or may not have been seen in Trek. --From Andoria with Love 10:20, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Delete (I think that's fairly evident. :-P) --From Andoria with Love 10:20, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Keep. I finally got around to looking at the link the creator of that article provided to me (here) showing an auction catalog where this patch is listed as Lot 32. It does state that it "was used during the production of the Star Trek:First Contact film" and "hung in the makeshift bar on Earth". I'll post this over there and add the Unreferenced material category, as I'm pretty sure it did not appear in the movie. --31dot 10:46, June 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Keep as unreferenced material. - Archduk3 04:36, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Keeping as info source is confirmed.--31dot 11:39, June 29, 2010 (UTC)
