Levi's jeans appeared in Star Trek: The Final Frontier.--72.155.117.128 00:29, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- Product placement implies payment for placement...Did Levi pay for the placement or was it just the brand of jeans the costumers happen to pick? :) — Morder 00:30, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- To continue this..."This is the third instance of product placement being used in a Star Trek production..." What about the pac bell yellow pages in star trek iv? — Morder (talk) 07:27, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
Removed[]
As with the money article, the following was removed, as the existence of Nokia suggests nothing about the nature of the economy of the Federation.
It is not clear whether or not this indicates the existence of a profit driven corporate economy. It may be that familiar brand names are still used in the 23rd century, however product distribution may no longer depend on the accumulation of profit.--31dot 02:42, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Nokia phone image[]
I thought I should upload this image. I'm hoping that someone might be able to find the things written here to be readable. I can read some of it, but my eyes are not the greatest. I can tell the top says "HELLO HELLO," but under that I simply can't tell. I'm hoping these are some song titles and if they are they might be potentially titles to new articles for Memory Alpha.
If anyone is able to read this, especially if you have software that could allow you to sharpen the image quality a little and make it more visible, that'd be great. I'd like to know what these words say. I know on one page an editor said that the Beastie Boys were described as "Oldies." Is that in the writing in this image perhaps?--Noah Tall (talk) 09:49, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
