Qo'noS/Kronos title Edit

According to the bg note, they spelled it wrong on purpose. Apparently that's wrong, and since I'm not watching the show, I need to ask what the subtitles say? - Archduk3 16:16, January 27, 2018 (UTC)

I re-watched that scene on Netflix with the subtitles on and the text reads, "Dominus of Qo'noS". Would you like me to take a screenshot of it? --| TrekFan Open a channel 16:44, January 27, 2018 (UTC)
I've just read the article's background note and I think what it means is the name of the planet was purposely mispronounced as "Kronos" as an insult to the Klingons. I watched the scene again and it does clearly sound like the guy says "Kro-nose" as opposed to "Kwo-nos". I think that is what they are getting at as opposed to the spelling. --| TrekFan Open a channel 16:48, January 27, 2018 (UTC)

We just need to make a note of the spelling in the subtitles and clarify that it was mispronounced. Right now it isn't clear based on the note. - Archduk3 20:17, January 27, 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, I agree. At the moment it reads like a copy/paste wall of text. It could do with putting into paragraphs with the key quotes from his Twitter feed embedded within that text. I would do it myself but I'm not keen on editing Discovery articles, prefer to put my efforts into the "prime" series. --| TrekFan Open a channel 23:43, January 27, 2018 (UTC)

Looks like the person who made the subtitles overcorrected the intentional mispronouncement. JagoAndLitefoot (talk) 03:57, January 28, 2018 (UTC)

Not from MalaysiaEdit

Isn't the statement saying she was not from Malaysia reading just a little bit too much into that exchange? -- Capricorn (talk) 09:01, February 13, 2018 (UTC)

I agree. -- Compvox (talk) 09:03, February 13, 2018 (UTC)
Because mirror Georgiou would lie just to seed doubt. Maybe this could be a story point later but I doubt it. -- Compvox (talk) 09:20, February 13, 2018 (UTC)

I think all that was going on is that Burnham, frustrated with her being there, made some weird passive aggressive attempt at tripping her up, which didn't work because not being an incompetent, the emperor had familiarized herself with some minimal facts on the person she was supposed to impersonate. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyway, I've gone ahead and removed the bit. -- Capricorn (talk) 16:15, February 21, 2018 (UTC)

Either way I agree it doesn't belong. -- Compvox (talk) 17:52, February 24, 2018 (UTC)

Security consultantEdit

So when she claimed to be a "Starfleet security consultant", did that mean a security consultant to Starfleet, or a consultant to Starfleet Security? The article currently assumes the former, though in my personal opinion the latter makes more sense. -- Capricorn (talk) 17:25, February 5, 2019 (UTC)
