Merge with "potato"Edit

I agree, too. (following links again) Sorry. --LauraCC (talk) 17:28, June 18, 2015 (UTC)

A couple of pointers: First, article titles are almost always singular, so when looking for an existing article, search for the singular version, even if someone has linked to the pleural). Second, if you create an article, make sure it's singular as well. There are a very few exceptions to this, of course, like scissors or pants (do you ever have one scissor or one pant?). Thanks! -- Renegade54 (talk) 17:35, June 18, 2015 (UTC)
Laura, as I mentioned on your talk page, just because there is a red link doesn't necessarily mean there should be an article at the end of that red link. In this case, the red link should have linked to the "potato" article. I can't fault your enthusiasm, you're doing a great job picking things up, just need to be a little more careful when creating new articles, that's all. --| TrekFan Open a channel 18:02, June 18, 2015 (UTC)
