I'm sure their are more reference, but I can't remember them. I did what I could using "what links here". Jaz talk 03:51, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

BG info = Nitpick?[]

I, for one, think that the bg info statement is a glorified nitpick and was wondering if we should remove it.--Obey the Fist!! 17:07, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Remove. --Pseudohuman 17:30, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
I removed the note:

The starboard power coupling aboard the USS Enterprise-D appears to have been extraordinarily delicate, as it was reported down or damaged virtually every time the ship came under fire. Conversely, the port power coupling seems to have been virtually invulnerable, as no damage was ever reported to it through the entire run of Star Trek: The Next Generation, even when the ship was near destruction.

Just for fun, I searched the scripts and found that the "starboard power coupling" was damaged in (TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise", "The Wounded", "Rascals", "Redemption II"), while the "port power coupling" was never mentioned. 4 times over 7 years isn't really that bad, nor does it constitute "virtually every time the ship came under fire".– Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 23:39, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
