Cutting Back

Wasn't it Benjamin Sisko that was cutting back in DS9: "Children of Time" and not Jadzia Dax? Since I didn't have my raktajino this morning, I can't remember to clearly. ----Willie 21:06, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes it was, just watched the episode and confirmed in the script. Yedrin Dax was addressing Ben when he said that. Will correct the article accordingly. -Rhinecanthus rectangulus 19:48, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Source for Ezri in Season SIX???

Hi folks, I wondered about the 6x07 episode "You are cordially invited" being used as a source for Ezri's beverage preferences (at the very end of the article), because Ezri does not appear until season 7. 6x07 is about Worf and Jadzia getting married. Is there any particular reason for this, maybe that Ezri had a flashback, reliving Jadzia's marriage? If there aren't any objections, I will remove 6x07 as a source - still one episode remaining, that should be enough.

By the way, it would be nice to have a more detailed description what raktajino exactly consists of and how it is made (which is what I have been searching for). We can't just make something up, of course. Does anyone have any clue to that, and - more important - any sources? Sibelius84 (talk) 08:51, July 9, 2014 (UTC)

I have ordered the official Star Trek cookbook, written by Ethan Phillips and another author. The index contains a hint to "raktajino". I hope it is a real recipe. We'll see as soon as I have the book in hands. Sibelius84 (talk) 13:55, July 14, 2014 (UTC)

Finally! The book has arrived. Well, it's not really a recipe, but the closest thing we've got. I have put the preparing instructions at the very end of the article, because it doesn't seem important enough to me to appear right at the beginning and somewhere in between it would have looked awkward. Maybe add some paragraph title? Sibelius84 (talk) 16:17, August 3, 2014 (UTC)

quote at top of page

I propose making the quote at the top of the page from Dukat in "Civil Defense"; "Where's Commander Sisko? I trust we wasn't vaporized while asking for one of those raktajinos he's so fond of?" I find it amusing and it illustrates the fondness of the characters over a racist quote from "Barry Waddle" about Klingons being "foul-smelling barbarians". 17:26, January 23, 2015 (UTC)

Well, on the one hand, there's nothing wrong with the present quote. On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with the suggested one of Dukat either. And yes, it is amusing. So - I say Yes. :-) Sibelius84 (talk) 19:27, January 23, 2015 (UTC)
