These are two different individuals. There should be two separate articles, possibly with the qualifier Second Dynasty/Third Dynasty. Kennelly (talk) 14:30, January 8, 2018 (UTC)

  • Agreed, and add a redirect to Karana - Shenara (Third Dynasty), an alias. --LauraCC (talk) 16:42, January 9, 2018 (UTC)

  • Done, but in updating the links, it did seem that there needs to be further clarification on the daughter situation, also, was the second Reclaw supposed to be an imposter or a supposed rightful heir? --Alan (talk) 15:34, May 2, 2018 (UTC)

Dax said a new group of Klingons was given the names of the old to create the "illusion of an unbroken line" and that Sirella was not related to Shenara "at all". I take from it the new Reclaw was not related to the old dynasty and just some "random" Klingon chosen. Kennelly (talk) 16:10, May 3, 2018 (UTC)

OKay. So the "new(ly named) dynasty" was the "return" of the previous dynasty, following the 10 years of democracy... in which case should we really treat it as "Reclaw I" and "Reclaw II"? Because Reclaw II was really an imposter of Reclaw I and "historically" a second Reclaw never existed... --Alan (talk) 16:18, May 3, 2018 (UTC)

I don't really get what other approach you propose? There were two people named Reclaw, even if official Klingon historiography treats them as one person who was out of office for ten years. Second and Third Dynasty seem to be estalished terms used by both Dax and Sirella. In RL France switched over from the Fourth Republic to the Fifth Republic under the same president (DeGaulle), so historians could use these terms even when they assume it was the same emperor. It's more of a link count thing. I'm just trying to hash it all out. I'm really not trying to propose anything, but like I said in my "done" comment, the "fake" daughter was being linked to the "real" Reclaw (linked to more) than to the "fake" Reclaw, who would have been, in reality, her contemporary (linked to less)... the perspective was inconsistent.--Alan (talk) 20:40, May 3, 2018 (UTC)
