Why do we need to place a realworld list with references in the main text when a pna-incomplete tag is placed? The normal way is to include this list on the talk page and add the references from an in-universe point to the text. We are not collecting "just lists" in the articles but information from an in-universe point of view. Tom (talk) 10:03, January 25, 2016 (UTC)

I understand that. However, we usually have appendices, including lists of "appearances" and/or "references", as well as bginfo and possibly apocrypha. I was just trying to build the article in that usual formatting style. However, if you'd prefer to wait til we actually have more info for the other appendices ready to be added, that's fine with me. --Defiant (talk) 10:19, January 25, 2016 (UTC)

Yes, usually. But to be honest, we don't have to place a list of "appearances" on every article when the main text is listing this information, right? What is the benefit of having such a list in a background section with no other information? IMO, good references in the in-universe text are way better than a list which says nothing just the episodes. Tom (talk) 10:29, January 25, 2016 (UTC)
