Merge?[]

My impression is that "gagh" is just the Klingon word for the worms. Like from the first episode they're mentioned:

RIKER: This, of course, is gagh.
PULASKI: Gagh?
RIKER: Yes, serpent worms. Would you like some?

I dunno. We could just as easily call ketchup "tomatoes", hamburgers "beef", or spaghetti "pasta", for someone who wants to know, basically, what we're eating. There's the animal/main ingredient and then there's the recipe. -LauraCC (talk) 17:06, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

But there's no evidence to support such a animal/food distinction here. The line above is the only time the term "serpent worm" is ever used in Trek, it's always been "gagh" otherwise, regardless of context. -- UncertainError (talk) 01:35, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
