The ship's name may have been preceded by the identifying prefix ISS, for "Imperial Scout Ship".
Wild speculation. -- Capricorn (talk) 16:00, February 17, 2020 (UTC)
- In the dialog, the ship is first introduced to us as the "Imperial scout ship Shaenor". So, no wild speculation.--Memphis77 (talk) 16:18, February 17, 2020 (UTC)
Inventing a registry based on that is still wild. -- Capricorn (talk) 16:21, February 17, 2020 (UTC)
- It is not the first time that we have had a ship given an identifying prefix in this manner - the Imperial Klingon Cruiser Amer is an example, or the United Starship Republic is another example. I was the one who created the article. I did not identify it as ISS Shaenor, as I knew there would be an issue, as demonstrated by Capricorn. However, later, I felt that someone might raise the issue, so I added the note.--Memphis77 (talk) 17:03, February 17, 2020 (UTC)
2380s dating[]
Where is that from? It's presumably post-Wolf 359 because the queencell had a feature from "after [Picard's] time" (and there was a Borg in regenestasis since 2387 and a sign implying the last assimilation incident at the facility was in 2383) but beyond that, but what is there to date the cube's assimilation of the Shaenor to the 2380s, as opposed to earlier? -- Capricorn (talk) 22:01, March 2, 2020 (UTC)
- Probably because it was the final ship assimilated by the cube, and the submatrix collapse happened soon enough after that a connection between the two is drawn by Soji. And just as a point of clarity, the regenestasis references was "fourteen years," placing it in 2385, not '87. --TimPendragon (talk) 09:45, March 3, 2020 (UTC)
But the submatrix collapse isn't dateable either. -- Capricorn (talk) 04:51, March 4, 2020 (UTC)
