::Sorry, it's just a very fancy way of saying that I don't think Gilchrist's change in look being less extreme then Judge's make it less probable that he's also playing a different character much. ::In a tweet from @harryjjudge, Gorch himself confirms that the current (Season 2) Tellarite and Andorian admirals are indeed new characters: "Yes, both are considered different characters rather than different expressions of Gorch and Shukar. Revision as of 23:47, March 14, 2019

If Gorch is explicitly not the Tellarite Admiral from this episode, doesn't the same apply to Shukar? The character was also only credited as "Andorian Admiral"? Or given that it's the same actor, and unlike Gorch there weren't any differences in make-up, we assume it was Shukar until proved otherwise? JagoAndLitefoot (talk) 15:51, March 13, 2019 (UTC)

Well, yes and no. The case of the Tellarite Admiral was confirmed to be a different character by the actor, and also, looked very different than Gorch in appearance. Did Shukar and the second Andorian Admiral look alike? --Alan (talk) 16:11, March 13, 2019 (UTC)

There are a few differences in appearance (e.g. the hairline), but less pronounced than with Gorch. JagoAndLitefoot (talk) 19:06, March 13, 2019 (UTC)

Of course going from a long haired character to a bald one is about as big a visual change as possible, so you would expect a second analogous case to revert to the mean in terms of how much they've changed. -- Capricorn (talk) 07:05, March 14, 2019 (UTC)
