The Sphere Builders, in fact, doomed their plan to alter history from the start when they saved the Xindi from extinction as allowing them to survive allowed to develop trans-dimensional adaptive technology that would prove decisive for the Federation in the 26th century in their battle against the Sphere Builders.

Right-o, then. Is there a source for this? Because I can't recall anything like this ever being mention in ENT. This info has also been added to the Xindi article. --Steve 02:56, 15 Jun 2004 (CEST)

If you notice in "Azati Prime", there is no effect of the transdimensional disturbence on Archer and Daniels at the battle of Procoyn V. It may not be offical, but we have to assume it.
I agree with Steve here. If it is not official, we should not simply add speculative information to the article. We do not have to assume anything in this case. -- Cid Highwind 13:41, 15 Jun 2004 (CEST)

-- I have a question that's been bugging me for a while. Anyone besides me notice a similarity between the Guardians and the Changelings from DS9? Could they be one and the same?

The Founders have never demonstrated the ability to perceive multiple possible timelines, for one thing, so no. :-) Alex Peckover 09:15, 8 Apr 2005 (EDT)
There are similarities in the fact that both are considered gods. -- rebelstrike 19:28, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)
There are similarities in that they wear similar makeup. There's only so much you can do to make a Human look like a different kind of humanoid.
This is entirely speculative of course (but an interesting idea nonetheless), off the above mention... Perhaps the Founders evolve into the Sphere Builders? --Sasoriza, 11:00, 7 May 2005
Perhaps it's the other way around.

Two pagesEdit

One question: Why is there a Sphere Builder page and a Sphere Builders page? The information of each page should be combined. -- 20:17, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

The Sphere Builders page is about individual Sphere Builders, while the Sphere Builder page is about the race itself. Most races listed on MA have each kind of page.--31dot 20:22, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Energy attack Edit

Why no mention of that energy shot they could perform?

Removed Background Edit

  • All the leadership and military roles by the Sphere Builders to date were females (aside from the one apparently male test subject), a move intended to highlight the "alienness" of the Builders by suggesting an androgynous appearance. A similar trick had already been used with the Talosians from Star Trek: The Original Series, along with the Female Changeling from DS9 and the Ancient humanoid from TNG.

This needs a citation that this was the intention for this race.–Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 10:41, December 30, 2011 (UTC)
