:: So regarding the "Captain Tal" image you removed, is he not wearing the same combadge as the most recent uniforms have, or are we to believe that he was wearing a PIC era uniform with a combadge design that has endured 700 years, and there were selectively huge gaps in timing of each previous host.–[[User:Gvsualan|Gvsualan]] ([[User talk:Gvsualan|talk]]) 04:31, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

:He was not, the lighting is just bad, it's the 2390s insignia. There must be some large gaps between hosts, or the PIC uniform lasts centuries. The implication is the first host must come from the 25th century or earlier since Tal knows enough about DISCO to mess with the systems. I'm pretty sure it was stated somewhere that syboints can go back into the pools between hosts too, but that could have come from a book. - {{User:Archduk3/Sig}} 04:52, 13 November 2020 (UTC)

Title

To keep with the other such articles, should this be Starfleet Uniform (3180s)? Other uniform designs whose start or end date is not known are titled this way. --MissRatbat (talk)

No. 12 years of Starfleet uniform (22nd century) and the actual rationale behind those other titles suggest otherwise. Also, we know with more than reasonable certainty that this uniform style has been in use for a few lifetimes now, as two Tal hosts are wearing it, and one of them was on a generational ship. This uniform is likely the same style that was in use when the Burn happened, which would actually make it the uniform from the 31st century too, but we don't know that for certain. - Archduk3 04:23, 13 November 2020 (UTC)
