realworld? splitting actor and character?[]
Regarding the new found "mix up" with adding template:real world to "actors who were also characters" articles would to do with this page, and the like, is create a separate page for the "actor" (ie Stephen Hawking (actor) from the "character" (ie Stephen Hawking. It seems we did something similiar with Maury Ginsberg/Maury Ginsberg (actor).--Alan del Beccio 19:24, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe "Stephen Hawking (hologram)"? But then, that makes adding the note about the Hawking being named for him a bit lonely... -- Tough Little Ship 11:07, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Categories[]
Is there a rationale for having the Performers and TNG Performers categories in this article, about the character? They are already on the Stephen Hawking (actor) article. Does that mean this character represented on the holodeck had acted in Star Trek?--31dot 12:11, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- A mistake based on the split as a result of the above conversation. -- Sulfur 12:21, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks- That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure. --31dot 12:23, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Removed B-Ground[]
I removed the following background note since it is real world material never mentioned in canon:
- In the 20th century, he formulated several theories regarding the nature of black holes that made him famous, often working with colleague Kip Thorne. One of these such theories were that black holes were not entirely black, but did create some radiation, which was later named Hawking radiation.
