Why only with Warp 3 after Styris IV ?[]

The only thing I don't understand is why at the end of TNG 1x04 they don't fly to Styris IV with Warp 9 or at least Warp 8, I mean they got the vaccine and on Styris 4 they are dying without it, why only with Warp 3 fly if it can be done faster??? --Treaki02 00:39, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
