Definition[]

I would like the community to refine the definition as it is so hard to really pin down what a subspace signature is as, apparently, anything can give off a ss signature. Thanks, also, I'll continue to add to this with references.--Obey the Fist!! 14:30, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

It sounds OK to me- I'm not sure anything more specific was said. Maybe the wording could be adjusted, but the gist of it seems good.--31dot 14:33, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Something general and unspecific would be my suggestion, like, "a subspace signature was a detectable energy emission which could be left behind by warp-powered starships." -Angry Future Romulan 14:41, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

Except it's not just warp-powered starships which make subspace signatures, as seen in (VOY: "Elogium") and (TNG: "Bloodlines"). I think that I will keep it basically as is.--Obey the Fist!! 15:29, June 29, 2010 (UTC)
