Warp engine. Edit

The Impulse engines are powered by the warp core? When Picard orders the impulse engines engaged, you can visibly see and hear the warp core pulsating faster, going at maximum at full impulse. 00:52, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

"You know what the worst part of this is... and I've seen it happen with so many patients..."

"It's the way other people change. How they start to treat you differently.

They walk on egg shells around you. Sometimes they avoid you altogether. Sometimes they become overbearing -- 'reach out a helping hand to the blind woman'!"

Citation needed Edit

I removed the following note, as it has lacked a citation for over three years now. If one can be found, it can be returned:

  • The two-dimensional lifeforms that feature in this episode were created by filming small pieces cut from a plastic carrier bag floating on the surface of a water tank.

Should important info about the german synchronization be added? Edit

In the german synchronization, this episode marks a turning point in the series, as no less than four major roles (Captain Picard, Dr. Crusher, Deanna Troi and Guinan) received new voice actors from this episode until the end of the series. These new voices were noticeably different from the earlier ones.

The reason for the change was that the german private channel SAT.1 purchased the right to broadcast TNG from the public service channel ZDF in 1993. ZDF had broadcast episodes 1-83 up to that point, the following episodes were only seen on SAT.1 with the aforementioned new voices. Source (in german)

My question is: Would it be suitable to add this information to this article? If so, what would be the best section of the article to put it in? The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk) at 16 August 2015.

If you can back it up with a auditable source (which you have done) I don't see why you can't add it to the article. It is quite interesting background information after all. As for where to put it, it could possibly go in the "Reception" section for lack of a better location. You could also add it to the TNG Season 4 article aswell. --| TrekFan Open a channel 14:45, August 16, 2015 (UTC)
imo "reception" would not be the correct place for info like that. -- Capricorn (talk) 16:25, August 16, 2015 (UTC)
