I'm trying to work out the last traces of red inkt (except of course unwritten topics) on the Main Page. I'm not exactly sure what Dan and Harry had in mind for this article, so I just tried something. Anyone have any suggestions for this page? -- Redge | Talk 16:09, 16 Aug 2004 (CEST)

I think there's something wrong if the majority of items on a "list of theories" are piped links that go to anything but a theory... Either a real theory or principle exists, or the item should be removed. For example, I don't believe there is ("was intended to be") a "Theory of the Warp 2 barrier". That just sounds strange. -- Cid Highwind 17:48, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
I removed everything that really isn't a link to a "theory" article:
- Omega, Theory of
- Quantum slipstream, Principle of
- Temporal mechanics
- Time barrier, Theory of the
- Transwarp, Principle of
- Warp, Theory of
- Warp 2 barrier, Theory of
- Warp factor, Principle of
- Emotions, Theory of

- This could probably just be a category (Category:Theories and principles) under :Category:Science rather than a boring old uncited list. --Alan 05:35, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

To more or less echo what was said above, if we can't get a theory article out of this, this is better off as a navigational template. - Archduk3 21:19, September 26, 2018 (UTC)
- There is enough to get an article out of theory, Spock and Data noted quite a few in their day. Also, in addition to theory, there are over 4 dozen references to hypothesis that haven't even been considered yet, and supposition, fact, deduction, analysis, speculation, certainty – all parts of the scientific method, I suppose, not yet covered. --Alan (talk) 17:26, July 16, 2019 (UTC)
