Canon?[]
Is the USS Lexington (NCC-14427) canon? Seems like we should give the show precedence over the encyclopedia and its reference to the USS Lexington (NCC-61832). As for the odd encyclopdeia reference, a background note should suffice. Jaf 18:17, 27 June 2006 (UTC)Jaf
Trials and Tribble-ations[]
In the DS9 episode "Trials of Tribble-ations", the science officer in the turbolift with O'Brian and Bashir mentions she just transfered from the Lexington while flirting with the Doctor. Should this be referenced in this article as well?

- No, as it doesn't have to do with this ship, but this one, where it is correctly mentioned.--31dot 20:39, December 2, 2011 (UTC)
The measure of a man: remastered[]
This ship is the same from "The Measure Of A Man", USS Lexington NCC-30405 ? Why separate them ?
with USS Excelsior cited in TNG: "Interface", you decided that USS Excelsior NCC-27445 is the same !!! C-IMZADI-4 (talk) 14:02, January 23, 2013 (UTC)
I agree. We generally assume that, unless explicitly disproven or completely implausible, references to a ship with the same name ARE meant to be the same vessel. Since the Nebula Lexington wasn't assigned a registry in canon and both ships are mentioned being in service in the 2360s I propose a merge. Kennelly (talk) 13:57, June 2, 2016 (UTC)
Registry change[]
After looking at this over and over again on the Blu-Ray version, I am going to propose a change to the registry of this ship. In my research, I feel strongly that the registry should be NCC-50425. I am unsure if it should be changed due to the possible background information from Picard season 3 (specifically that it was either directly pulled from MA or the research assistant obtained this via MA and was used for a production art). I would like to open discussions if this should be changed or if we feel it should remain as is. ‐Yaroze86 (talk) 16:21, 22 September 2023 (UTC)
