The close captioning has the name of this ship as "Sue". A contributor changed the name to "Sioux", which has the pronunciation of "Sue". So, what is the name of this ship?--Memphis77 (talk) 07:12, September 25, 2017 (UTC)

I didn't catch the name of this ship appearing on my first viewing but I do know that closed captioning should almost never be used as the source of a spelling, as closed captioning text is usually created by people not involved with the production of the show, and/or by using very early scripts. 31dot (talk) 10:05, September 25, 2017 (UTC)
They already identify the USS Ride incorrectly; however, if it's all we have to go on at the moment, it should stay here for now. Hopefully, we'll get some behind-the-scenes reference from one of the production staff to know for certain. -- Michael Warren | Talk 10:24, September 25, 2017 (UTC)
I agree that "Sioux" probably has more merit, cc did manage however manage to get a number of odd spellers correct: Crepusculan, Januzzi, Weeten, Or'Eq; with exceptions being H'Atoria-->H'atoria and ToQ-->Toq. Out of curiosity (because I haven't seen ep 2, why might Ride be wrong? Sally Ride immediately came to mind when I saw that name pop up. --Alan del Beccio (talk) 10:33, September 25, 2017 (UTC)
No, I mean the cc's get it wrong - they say Rye. -- Michael Warren | Talk 10:35, September 25, 2017 (UTC)
