Released footage[]

I'm beginning to think that there is no consistency in what should be used in imagery. I have used ss from "preview" of next episodes and was told that that was not "official" released and so could not be used yet here we see a dedication plaque that has been shown not by any official Star Trek outlet. So what is the policy? Otto Vonbacon ❯❯❯ Talk 16:20, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

What part of this isn't clear? - Archduk3 16:26, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

So then is the use of something pre-released (in a next week preview) by Star Trek official? Since I've been told (by an admin) it is not which seems odd Otto Vonbacon ❯❯❯ Talk 16:39, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

Retain your indent.
No, you can not cite something in-universe to a production that isn't released yet. Previews and trailers have shown footage that was ultimately unused, so nothing in them is "canon" until it's used in the episode proper. - Archduk3 17:14, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

Thanks Arch, I was unclear on that. Otto Vonbacon ❯❯❯ Talk 18:57, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

No problem. - Archduk3 19:10, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

Class[]

Based on the interior we saw in the episode, can we tell what class this imaginary starship is? Is it Crossfield? Kind regards, -- Markonian 23:02, March 19, 2019 (UTC)

Funny, I was just working on that. The interior sets were reused from Discovery, but so did those in the Hoover-class USS De Milo, so to the extent that it even makes sense to assign a class to a mindscape, we can't even be certain. -- Capricorn (talk) 17:18, March 20, 2019 (UTC)
