Splitting[]
Seeing as the mirror universe has become a more prominent feature of the Star Trek universe (with well over a dozen episode's to its credit < on-screen time than the alternate universe), shouldn't we look at giving it a little more freedom to roam vs. cramming several species into a single page, and give this and other mu ideas a little more individuality. As if there were mu-MA articles but were actually written and incorporated into MA. Same idea with the mirror universe starships. --Alan (talk) 15:34, March 22, 2018 (UTC)
- Maybe split by century, since all 3 primarily used centuries in Trek are represented...--LauraCC (talk) 15:35, March 22, 2018 (UTC)
- Creating four multi-species pages doesn't address the issue of "cramming several species" here, though that is hardly what was done, and the current format works far better for categorization than multiple unnamed species pages in the mirror category for a handful of entires located deep in the lists. That said, I don't think every species here needs a mirror page, but if you want an "Unnamed Terrans" page, that's fine by me. I personnally think the mirror starships page is redundant with the categories, but the uniform pages are a travesty. - Archduk3 02:20, March 23, 2018 (UTC)
The name, just in itself, is bleh. By "crammed", I mean we're treating the mirror universe like some microcosm versus broadening our view of it from essentially three categories: this, Klingon-Cardassian Alliance personnel, and Imperial starship personnel. We have room to expand, room to flesh this mirror universe out the same way we've fleshed out the alternate universe. And really, in the end, why limit ourselves like this? --Alan (talk) 04:32, March 23, 2018 (UTC)
- The alternate reality pages simply have more content; the mirror universe may have more screen time, but it has far fewer people on screen. I don't think we need a bunch of single entry unnamed pages just for the sake of having pages. That said, we can already squeeze an unnamed mirror category out of the pages we already have, but one or two more wouldn't hurt. - Archduk3 14:58, April 6, 2018 (UTC)
Organization[]
I'm still a bit confused on the logic of how this page was (and to an extent still is) intended to be divided. There is this weird division with the remaining Bajoran, dabo girl, and Vulcans (and for that matter a lot of the now Unnamed Terrans), as well as a vast majority of the vast majority of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance personnel, that seem like they are spread all over, when the simpler solution would have been Terok Nor personnel (mirror)... --Alan (talk) 16:00, May 14, 2019 (UTC)
