Similarities to Remember Me Edit

I always thought that this episode was an interesting counterpoint to "Remember Me" -- in that, Crusher experienced everything and everybody else vanishing; in this episode, Hoshi experiences herself vanishing; and in the end, both are creations of their own minds. Removed Edit

Removed as speculation-

  • Hoshi's experience in the transporter could have been a mild example of transporter psychosis.--31dot 02:17, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

I believe this is speculation-

Question about Beam as verb Edit

I just watched this episode. I'm not getting where "Hoshi initiated the convention of using the word "beam" as a verb (as in, 'Beam Me Up, Scotty.')". Right before she is transported she says "Ensign Sato Ready for Transport".. Where did she start using beam as a verb? Cliffb (talk) 04:35, October 26, 2014 (UTC)

In the episode's final scene, Hoshi says to Captain Archer, "I hope you don't plan on beaming me anywhere for a long time." --Defiant (talk) 01:06, October 27, 2014 (UTC)
Ah. Thank you for clarifying that. Cliffb (talk) 09:30, October 31, 2014 (UTC)
