Vin = Punk[]

Is there ANY real basis for Vin being the punk on the bus from Star Trek IV other than the possibility that he lived in San Fransisco at the time? We don't even have evidence of that. I think the note needs to go, for simply being too far fetched and baseless. --OuroborosCobra talk 16:04, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Some fans have gone so far as to suggest that Vin is an older version of the Punk on the Bus encountered by Kirk and Spock.
I removed that, "Some fans think..." is never a good addition, senseless speculation. --Jörg 10:00, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
I've seen it in a bunch of places, most significant of which was a Deep Space Nine novel, although I cant remember which one. -FleetCaptain 14:52, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

If we can find the novel, that would be a worthwhile addition, as it would no longer be "some fans think..." --OuroborosCobra talk 03:37, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Fun fact[]

What is the interest of :

"An interesting tie-in fact is that, if Vin had lived in San Francisco his whole life, he would have been in his late 20s or early 30s during the events seen in Star Trek IV. In this case he would have been a child during O'Brien and Kira's brief visit to 1967 in "Past Tense, Part II"."

? It's purely speculative and there's no sufficient clues to say anything about his past and make useless links. - From Cardassia with pain (talk) 09:50, November 26, 2013 (UTC)

I removed that too. --Alan (talk) 17:07, March 7, 2019 (UTC)

Name[]

I looked at the Okudagram and it seems to me his first name is Richard. ‐ Yaroze86 (talk) 03:33, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
