Kolmak[]
Since Westervliet was never named in the Episode, wouldn't it be more prudent to just assume he is Kolmak --TOSrules 23:15, Oct 27, 2004 (CEST)
- Key killer of your comment is the word "assume". The credits say "Westervliet", therefore he must be Westervliet. --Alan del Beccio 06:15, 18 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Especially when an attempt was made to make him look different. --Alan 19:47, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
Confusing paragraph[]
- "Westervliet was played by Byron Morrow, who also portrayed Admiral Komack in TOS: "Amok Time". Although Westervliet's name was not spoken on screen, but rather appeared in the end credits, a noticeable change was made in Morrow's appearance in "Amok Time", where he was named in the script as Westervliet, to differentiate between the two characters."
How could the Amok Time script call him Westervliet when "For The World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky" hadn't been filmed yet? NetSpiker (talk) 02:05, March 10, 2016 (UTC)
- I also don't see "noticeable changes". - DS9 Forever (talk) 11:50, August 6, 2016 (UTC)
- The scalping, perhaps. --Alan del Beccio (talk) 18:51, September 7, 2017 (UTC)
- I don't see that any attempt was necessarily made to make him look different. It was a year later, the actor may simply have had a different hairstyle for another job. The lighting is down to different directors. Without a source to say "an attempt was made," that idea is just an assumption, and is highly debatable beyond the bounds of "common sense" acceptance. --TimPendragon (talk) 16:00, February 5, 2020 (UTC)
