Name of star system?[]

Can anyone verify in the episode whether the name of the star system is M43 Alpha (as in this article) or M34 Alpha (as in "Alpha")? I've done a Google search and got hits on both on various Trek sites, and I don't have access to either the episode or the script. Thanks! -- Renegade54 13:57, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

According to Zeon (planet), Talk:Zeon (planet) and this episode transcript the star system wasn't given any name at all. -- Cid Highwind 14:20, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Addition: The old Star Trek Maps publication, which likely is the source of this, claims that it is M43. -- Cid Highwind

Star Trek's Zeon is said to have inspired the "Principality of Zeon" in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam.

Ironically, another popular sci-fi franchise would also use the name Zeon – the Japanese anime Mobile Suit Gundam and its popular villainous spacefaring group, the Principality of Zeon. This spelling is actually an international alternative to the original Japanese romanization of 'Zion' which fell into disuse after Gundam was licensed in other countries. Also, in Gundam, the Zeon Principality was led by a man who idolized Hitler.
