I just want to remind people that as of "The End is the Beginning", we still don't have any real reason to believe this is actually real, let alone that certain people belong to it. In that episode, Picard is still assuming the Romulan hit squads on Earth are Tal Shiar. Zhat Vash and Tal Shiar[]
Based on "Broken Pieces" and references, or lack thereof, in previous episodes, it seems to me that the Zhat Vash are an all female group of Romulans with the "memories" from the Admonition while the Tal Shiar are the face and official rank structure for their mission at large. This would make them, at their core, similar to the Qowat Milat, except all for being all secrets and lies, and explain better why the two groups are at odds. It would also mean all the male "members" are just Tal Shiar or regular Romulan military. - Archduk3 06:28, March 14, 2020 (UTC)

- I don't think there's enough proof in canon to say that the Zhat Vash are all-female; female-dominated, perhaps. According to Michael Chabon on Instagram, it's mostly female but there are rare male members. -- UncertainError (talk) 22:15, March 14, 2020 (UTC)
