Tami Peterson is an actress who worked as recurring background actress in episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager. She received no credit for her appearances and was identified by the call sheets of the episodes. Her Changeling costume from the third season episodes "The Search, Part I" and "The Search, Part II" was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] Prior to principal filming on Voyager, she appeared in her sciences uniform as camera and makeup test model on Paramount Stage 8 on Thursday 11 August 1994 and Friday 12 August 1994.

Peterson appeared as a bar patron in the Cheers episodes "It's Lonely on the Top" (1993, with Kirstie Alley, Kelsey Grammer, Paul Willson, Cameron, Don Bennett, Star Halm, and Brandon Tartikoff) and "Rebecca Faines, Rebecca Loses" (1993, with Kirstie Alley, Kelsey Grammer, Paul Willson, George Hearn, Renata Scott, Don Bennett, Star Halm, Bill Thomas Miller, Rad Milo, Susan Lewis, Rick Berman, Curt Truman, Robert Buckingham, and Lou DeGrado). In 1994/1995, she appeared as a background actress in three first season episodes of the comedy series Cybill. She first portrayed an on set actress appearing as a doctor in the episode "As the World Turns to Crap" where she worked with Christina Pickles, Ken Jenkins, Neal McDonough, and David Clennon, then a casino waitress in the episode "Call Me Irresponsible" with Matt McKenzie, and a gym goer in the episode "The Curse of Zoey" with Kristin Bauer.

She appeared as a patient in the ER episode "A Shift in the Night" (1996, with Mary Mara, Scott Jaeck, Peggy Roeder, Harry Boykoff, Larry Polson, Melissa Vinicor, and Aruni Devi Hansen) and as a White House reporter in the science fiction comedy Mars Attacks! (1996, with Paul Winfield, Willie Garson, Michael Reilly Burke, Valerie Wildman, Richard Irving, Vinny Argiro, Gregg Daniel, Jeanne Mori, Frank Welker, Greg Bronson, Robert Buckingham, Faith Burton, Maria Celeste Genitempo, Adolphus Hankins, Jana Karson, Jerry Quinn, Michael Wilkinson, and Brian J. Williams). In 1997 she appeared as a mother at the beauty parlor in the Cybill episode "True Confessions" along with Mark La Mura.
