Tara Rosling (born 16 November 1970; age 53) is an actress who played T'Rina in the third through fifth seasons of Star Trek: Discovery.
She grew up in Vancouver and the small towns of British Columbia interior and graduated with a BA in Acting from York University. Soon after, she moved to Toronto and began working in film, television and independent theatre. An established stage actress, she spent two seasons with the Stratford Festival in Stratford, Ontario, and eleven seasons with the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, performing in plays such as Saint Joan, The Heiress, Last Windermere's Fan, and Twelfth Night.
Her on-screen credits mostly include television work, such as guest roles on shows like Highlander: The Raven, Total Recall 2070 (with Chad Allen), The Dresden Files, Cra$h & Burn, Ransom (with Nazneen Contractor), The Handmaid's Tale, The Expanse (with Shohreh Aghdashloo, Chai Valladares, and Michael Benyaer), and Murdoch Mysteries (with Clare McConnell).
She appeared in The Taking of Pelham One (1998, featuring Kenneth Welsh), the 1999 TV biopic Ricky Nelson: Original Teen Idol, and co-starred in Time Bomb (2006).
In 2000, she co-starred in The War Next Door, and in 2018-19, she had a main recurring role in Impulse, which co-starred Missi Pyle and also featured Raven Dauda.
Her few feature film credits include Extreme Measures (1996, with Paul Guilfoyle and David Cronenberg), The Uncles (2000, with Alan van Sprang), and Happy Place (2020, with Sheila McCarthy).
