In the early 2380s, Adrev was present when Admiral Jean-Luc Picard addressed the Hall of State, promising Federation assistance with Romulan relocation in the face of the pending Romulan supernova. He was then among the refugees evacuated to the planet Vashti aboard the transport Nightingale.
Adrev was angered and embittered when the Federation withdrew its support after the Attack on Mars of 2385. By 2399, he had become a member of the Romulan Rebirth movement. That year, he noticed Picard returning to Vashti and spread the word on his combadge.
Later, after Picard seated himself at the Romulan Social Club, Adrev confronted him about Starfleet's broken promises to the Romulans. He told Picard his story, and accused Starfleet of deliberately undermining his people at their time of vulnerability, which Picard adamantly denied. Adrev dismissed his words, however, and challenged Picard to a duel. After a single parried thrust, Picard threw his sword aside and refused to fight any further. They were then interrupted by Elnor, who urged Adrev to back down. When Adrev refused, Elnor swiftly beheaded him with his tan qalanq. (PIC: "Absolute Candor")
