Teo Smoot (born 13 March 1962; age 63) is an actor who appeared as a holographic Klingon in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "The Icarus Factor" and as a Klingon crewmember in the episode "The Emissary". [1] [2]

As an actor, he had supporting roles in the television thriller Dangerous Heart (1994, with Jeffrey Nordling, Michael Ensign, Steve Kehela, and Patti Tippo), the short drama Helicopter (1994), Showgirls (1995, with Gina Ravarra, Michelle Johnston, Sandra Plazinic, and Eric Ritter), Barb Wire (1996, with Ron Balicki, Shelly Desai, Clint Howard, Diana Lee Inosanto, Henry Kingi, Sr., Tommy 'Tiny' Lister, Jr., Peewee Piemonte, Lou Simon, Patti Tippo, Nicholas Worth, and Tracee Lee Cocco), the thriller Playing God (1997, with Pasha Lychnikoff, Tracey Walter, Keone Young, Michael Chong, Al Ahlf, Lorin McCraley, and Guy Siner), and Starship Troopers (1997, with Dina Meyer, Clancy Brown, Matt E. Levin, Blake Lindsley, Brenda Strong, Lenore Kasdorf, Tami-Adrian George, Christopher Curry, Bruce Gray, Timothy McNeil, Julianna McCarthy, Betty Hankins, Stephanie Erb, Greg Bronson, Brian Tochi, Azalea Davila, and Whitney Hall).

Further acting appearances include an episode of Mowgli: The New Adventures of the Jungle Book (1998), Supreme Sanction (1999, with Ron Perlman and Tommy 'Tiny' Lister, Jr.), Smiling Fish and Goat on Fire (1999, with Wilda Taylor), the action drama Jacked (2003), and the thriller Ashes of the Phoenix (2013).

Smoot worked as producer on the comedy The Organization (2001, starring T.J. Storm), as co-producer on the short thriller Breach (2004, starring Jamie McShane and Dina Meyer), and as supervising editor on the short drama A Mother's Choice (2010). He also worked as writer, producer, and director on the short film Finding Neo (2004, starring Clancy Brown) and the short drama Parker (2007, also with Clancy Brown). He wrote the short horror film The Layover (2019) and worked as producer and director on the drama Angel Wishes: Journey of a Spiritual Healer (2009).

Smoot later worked as producer, writer, director, actor, editor and music composer on the television comedy The Crack'd Nutz Experiment (2020). Since 2003 he has also been CEO and owner of the interactive commercial campaign company Cool Room Entertainment.
