The Call of the Prophets was a 22nd century poem by the Bajoran poet Akorem Laan. This twelve stanza work was greatly influential; however, it was unfinished when he disappeared into the then-undiscovered Bajoran wormhole. It was Major Kira's favorite work by him.
When Akorem was returned to his own time, he finished his work. This created a minor temporal paradox in that Kira remembered the incomplete work. (DS9: "Accession")
