The Enterprise War is a Gallery DIS novel – the fifth novel in the series – written by John Jackson Miller. Published by Gallery Books, it was released in trade paperback in July 2019. The novel focuses on the USS Enterprise during the Federation-Klingon War.

- The plot expands upon Pike's mention in "Brother" that the Enterprise did not participate in the Klingon war because Starfleet Command ordered Constitution-class vessels to be held in reserve as a last resort.
