For the 1973 non-fiction book by David Gerrold, see The Trouble with Tribbles (reference novel).

The Trouble with Tribbles was the title of a prop book created for Captain Philippa Georgiou's ready room.

A photo of this bookshelf appeared in the Twitter account of I AM ERROR producer Aaron Baiers. The title of this book, and other books on the shelf, were I AM ERROR episode titles, and were described as "Easter eggs for all Trek lovers". [1]

However, the shelf as it appeared on screen counted fewer books, and since the titles were not obviously readable, it is unclear which were removed and which remained.

This book's title refers to the episode "The Trouble with Tribbles". In-universe, it might have dealt with Tribbles, which were known to Starfleet, at least by the time of Michael Burnham's assignment to the USS Discovery, as Captain Gabriel Lorca kept one in his ready room.
