Thomas E. Sanders (23 September 1953–6 July 2017; age 63) was a Production Designer whose final work was the production design on Star Trek Beyond.

His work on Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) and Saving Private Ryan (1998) earned him two Academy Award nominations in the category Best Art Direction – Set Decoration. Other projects on which he worked as production designer include Braveheart (1995), Mission: Impossible 2 (2000), Eagle Eye (2008), Red Riding Hood (2011), After Earth (2013), and Crimson Peak (2015).

Sanders died of cancer at the age of 63 on 6 July 2017. [1] [2]
