Thomas E. Sanders (born 1953died 6 July 2017) was a Production Designer whose final work was the production design on Star Trek Beyond.

His work on Francis Ford Coppola's horror film Dracula (1992) and Steven Spielberg's war drama Saving Private Ryan (1998) earned him two Academy Award nominations in the category Best Art Direction – Set Decoration. Other projects on which he worked as production designer include Mel Gibson's drama Braveheart (1995), the action sequel Mission: Impossible II (2000), the thriller Eagle Eye (2008), the fantasy horror Red Riding Hood (2011), the science fiction film After Earth (2013), and the fantasy/horror film Crimson Peak (2015).

Sanders died of cancer at the age of 63 on 6 July 2017. [1] [2]
