Burnham judgment mu

In Emperor Georgiou's throne room, Georgiou passes judgement on Michael Burnham

The throne room served as the seat of command for the Terran Empire's emperor and her flagship, the ISS Charon. (DIS: "Vaulting Ambition")

The controls for the Charon's central energy orb were located in the throne room. (DIS: "What's Past Is Prologue")

According to the After Trek "Starfleet Briefing" in "What's Past Is Prologue", the throne room proved to be one of the most challenging sets to create, and Production Designer Tamara Deverell was inspired by the design of The Bund Finance Center in Shanghai.
The set of the Charon's throne room was subsequently reused for production on "Will You Take My Hand?", to create the set of a cabaret in an Orion outpost on Qo'noS. On that occasion, the throne room set was combined with a reuse of a set that had served, earlier in the show's first season, to represent a graveyard chamber aboard the Sarcophagus.
