Tiburon was an inhabited planet in the Tiburon system. Located in the Beta Quadrant, this was the homeworld for the Tiburonians, a warp-capable humanoid species. Parts of the planet were cold and experienced pink snow. (TOS: "The Savage Curtain"; DIS: "Coming Home")

History[]

Zora was an infamous historical figure on Tiburon, known for her cruel and inhumane experiments on humanoid subjects to test the body chemistry of subject tribes. (TOS: "The Savage Curtain")

In 2149, Doctor Phlox attended an IME conference on Tiburon, where he briefly met a member of the Mazarite delegation. Unknown to him at the time, this member was actually a Klingon expert in metagenics research, named Dr. Antaak. The Klingons were not invited to the conference. (ENT: "Affliction")

Tiburon was the former home of Dr. Sevrin in the mid-23rd century, where he studied to become an expert in the fields of acoustics, electronics, and communications. (TOS: "The Way to Eden")

In the early 24th century, the Tiburon system was marked on a Section 31 map as controlled by the Klingon Empire. (Star Trek: Section 31)

Michael Burnham and Cleveland Booker had a perilous escapade on Tiburon while they worked together as couriers in 3188. Booker would later recall that this was when he realized that he had fallen in love with Burnham. (DIS: "Coming Home")
