Mathilde "Tig" O'Callaghan Notaro (born 24 March 1971; age 49) is an American stand-up comic, writer, radio contributor, and actress. She played Jett Reno, chief engineer of the USS Hiawatha, in the second season of Star Trek: Discovery. [1]

Notaro is best-known as the subject of the 2015 Netflix documentary Tig, which chronicled her battle with cancer and her struggle to have children with her fiancée Stephanie Allynne. Notaro and Allyne have been married since 2015, and co-starred in and co-wrote the Amazon Prime sitcom One Mississippi, which ran for two seasons until 2017. Notaro has also appeared on Transparent, Fresh Off the Boat, Garfunkel and Oates, The Jim Gaffigan Show, The Office, and Community, starring Danny Pudi and Gillian Jacobs (in an episode where her friend Paul F. Tompkins also featured). She reunited with Jacobs in the 2014 film Walk of Shame.
